fun-fact!
So apparently it's Teacher Appreciation Week.  Go teachers.  Why do I know this?  Because Lowe's told me so.  And why would Lowe's tell me so?  Because they suggested I honor my teachers with a Lowe's gift card.  Wtf.  One of my 8th grade teachers accepted bribes in the form of pictures of Fabio. (and in the pre-internet age, that was easier said than done.) And these days, you're supposed to give your teachers what amounts to cash?  I hope that's just Lowe's being weird.

Well, now that I've scratched the itch to share that, I have to make this fan-related somehow, so... if you're a teacher out there (no cheating or i'll sic the internet posse on you!), feel free to drop me a comment on something you'd like to see me write, and I'll see what I can do. ^_^v I don't make promises, and I don't guarantee timeliness, but I will take your suggestions under sincere consideration.  (provided you don't say something like 1x6 dubcon or something. x_x)

Anything would be fine- I enjoy your writing. But since you asked- perhaps "science fair"?

Hmmm.... *strokes chin* Sounds like something my two favorite engineering students in Plans could play with...

Gee... cash bribes? Wonder if that would have helped my grades any, back in the day? >_>

Maybe if you spend the extra $2.xx to buy the fancy Lowe's gift card holder, you can pretend it's not just cash. ^^'

*facepalm*

I don't think even cash would have saved me, but a few baggies of weed might have... ^__~

I'm not sure which would be harder for a kid to explain to his parents... having weed, or cutting out pictures of Fabio.

In their respective eras, I think both would take some creativity. ^___^ And willing parents.

I... am going to assume that private unofficial tutors don't count. *plods off*

*looks around* Well, since it's not like I've got loads of requests building up here, seems like it's your lucky day.  Hit me.

8D Really?! Erm. Hmmmm.

Can I say 'meeting old friends'? As in. Duo runs into one of the orphans from way back when? >.> That's too specific, isn't it.

Hm.  *contemplates*  You know, I've always pictured Heero in the role of 'meeting old friends' instead... but that could just be because most of my ficthoughts revolve around Heero. ^^' We'll see where this leads us, then.

Honestly, the hardest part about any of these things is just trying to convince myself to make up a magic backstory to explain a scene without turning it into some sort of epic. x_x

That's hilarious. In my district, teacher appreciation week means the higher up admins come out, give a little speech about how much they appreciate us, do some handshaking and present a dry cake from food services. Maybe a pen if the budget can handle it. *grin*

I love everything you write, so more of anything is good with me- but if you like, maybe 'mug'? That's the sort of thing I usually get as a gift from my students. I think it's because they know middle school teachers run on coffee.

Well, obviously the admins are counting on the students to provide you with the cash rewards these days. *snort*

Mug...?  Hm, all the easy ideas of 'this is my favorite mug because you gave it to me' are taken.... Well, we shall take this 'mug' of yours and plant it with some good BS fertilizer and see if it sprouts.

My school provides small gifts for the entire week (candy usually) and a catered lunch. I had my fill of rice crispy treats and nachos.

It's a bit late, but can I still make a request?

"Studying in order to be prepared to study for a test."

As long as it's still Teacher Appreciation Week, you're still in the game. ^_^

Studying... studying?  Studying study methods?  Studying... huh.  Think it'll take me a little while to work my head around that one. O_o

Maybe "pre-studying for the pre-test review" is a better way to phrase it?

I'm still trying to understand the logic in planning for finals and hope that others can shed light on it.
